One best time to shoot flowers is right after the rain. The
raindrops on petals and leaves will give a magical effect especially the water droplets reflecting the colors of the flowers.
I agree with this technique. It's nice also if there are animals flying around let's say a bee? hahaha! It may sting you though. Kidding aside. I love taking photos of flowers. I just hope I have a macro lens.
That will be another good idea though difficult to shoot moving objects especially now that I am just using digicam. Macro is one of my project too after purchasing my DSLR.
Nice photo! Thanks for the tip. I do hope we get a little bit of rain so I can try this out - and so we can have a break from the heat we've been having the past days.
I love seeing shots of flowers because here in our place, there are barely flowers planted. I rarely see one. Sa flower shops na lang ako nakakakita ng flowers talaga. :)
I love fresh flowers by the table every spring! You captured this one very nicely.

ReplyDeleteAnother trick. It it is not after the rain, you can fake it by spraying or misting the flowers with water. Anotehr wise idea.
DeleteI used to go out after the rain to look for flowers with raindrops! Did you use the DSLR?
ReplyDeleteYou can have the same effect even there's no rain. I am not using DSLR. I used canon ixus 70...oldies na no?
